Fish Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 My dad bought this back in 1992. Anyone know who actually made it? The only thing I can find on it besides True Value is a label saying Power Tool Specialists. Quote
dgman Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Don't know for sure, but looks like an old Sears saw. Quote
campasano Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 I agree, it looks like an old craftsman's scroll saw. Mike Quote

bandaideman Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 is it still working well? if so keep cuting if not it would be more important if you need parts to know who made it. I do agree with Craftsman style. Quote

ike Posted January 28, 2016 Report Posted January 28, 2016 I had a Craftsman just like it .you tihten the blade in the back and it has a spring that looks like zig zag , I bought it about the same time gave $200 for it expensive at the time. the spring broke in the late 90's so iI made one out of a close hanger and it held up till about 2013. it was a good saw. ike Quote
Jim Finn Posted February 22, 2016 Report Posted February 22, 2016 I have a 1988 Jet saw 15" that looks a lot like that. The arm on mine is not covered but the motor looks similar. I paid $15 for it and use it almost every day. I put Hegner clamps on it though. Quote
