Nicely done Marg, is this the first metal item you've cut?

Len

No Len I cut some very very thin aluminum and some brass last year for practice,  I wanted to know if I could do it because I wanted to eventually cut silver.  I will buy myself some thicker silver next time.

When you say recycled Marg, what was it before or did you melt it down?? Roly

Where does one find "recycled" silver.  Never heard of that.

Recycled silver is made from scraps of silver all melted together and then rolled into sheets.  I think they also use old silver (pure) jewelry as well.  I have taken a photo of the label that is on the piece that I have so that you can check it out.  web address on top right.
