I have an Excaliber and the arm on it lifts and stay up, well most the time.  I have had it come back down while I an trying to thread a blade.  It made me nervous, I did not want that to happen when I was working on a delicate picture.  So I started using my trusty "holder-upper" that I made for my DeWalt and used on it until I purchased a lift.  I use in on the Ex now when things get delicate as a "just-in-caser".  Got to show it off it is a masterpiece of word working!
