Kyle Wilt
I was wondering what you folks charge on signs with wordart in wordart, like the one Travis showed on YouTube? Thanks in advance, Kyle
Clayton717
Hi Kyle. Welcome to the Village. I have only made a few of the intersecting word art cuttings but I have sold them for $35 each.
Kyle Wilt
I am working on my first one and using 3/4" oak from the big box store. With Reynolds as the background and his and her names (Kevin and Brittney) thru. I was thinking 35 would be a fare price just wasn't sure
LarryEA
Your first sale Kyle? Sounds reasonable to me. All's well if you both are satisfied. After you sell it, you have a little 'remorse'. Raise the price next time. PS: Nice looking family you have. Clayton717
I cut my first one from 3/4" but now I cut from 1/2" stock. The last couple I cut from mahogany, it was easy to cut and looked good. I liked the way it looked better in the 1/2" material versus the 3/4". Lucky2
Kyle, I agree with Clayton, I would price it at $35.00 also. Len

edward
I sell mine for $30 on 1/2" oak , I did smaller ones on 1/4" oak and sell for $20. Just my opinion.
heppnerguy
I have sold a few of the intersecting wood signs too. I think I was charging $30 for the ones I sold but it could have been $35. I would say $35 is a fair price for these. They are really attractive and a little different, unless you are a scroller, then you see so many that it almost seems like there is no longer any other kind of sign designed now days. I too use 1/2 inch to cut my signs on. It seems to be the beest thickness for this sign, in my opinion. LarryEA
Like Clayton, I cut 1/2" but I also stack a 1/4" Luan and cut two.
WayneMahler
I cut mine from 1/2" red oak. I was selling them at $25 may have to rethink that. Custom designs are $35 though. What good thread to read

After I step out on the plank, you're going to shove me off...... I'll say///................aarrrggggggggggggg I'll say,,,,,,,,,,, $12 Realize, I don't know

NC Scroller
Pricing is the hardest part of scrolling if you are selling products. Just remember some pricing will vary by region and even by venue (show) in a region. I am sure they will sell fine at $35 in the suburbs of DC, Atlanta, NYC, Philly, London, etc but in my part of rural USA $20-$25 is the best I can do for pre made and $25 -$30 for custom. This is why with the premade I use 1/2" stock and stack cut 2X.
