Copy and Paste issues

For some strange reason I can't seem to be able to paste items into threads here on SSV.  It is just on SSV since I can use Copy and Paste on other sites I frequent.  I am not sure when the issue started.  If it matters I recently became a patron here on SSV.

A couple of people had a similar issue in this thread.

Seems to be a problem with Internet Explorer.  Lots of people are having trouble with copy and paste (https://encrypted.google.com/search?hl=en&q=IE11%20can't%20paste).  There really isn't a good solution from what I can tell.  It seems most people get frustrated with IE and switch to Firefox or Chrome.  
 
Here's a workaround, though.  In the upper left corner, click the icon that looks like a light switch.  This will take you into BB Code.  You can paste your text there.  It will strip away all of your formatting (if you created any).  Then click it again to get back into your formatting mode.

It is not pretty but it worked.  BTW the issue also impacted my ability to do a Quote or MultiQuote here at SSV.  The only way I was able to do the quote here is by clicking the "light switch".  It is just strange it only happens here but I have seen stranger things on the internet.
