Mark Higginbotham Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 on the pattern library how do you print out pattern to fit copy paper or open in pdf file? Quote
jerry1939 Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 "Save As" "png" It will put an icon on your desktop. Download from png icon on your desktop. Hope this makes sense Friend. jerry Quote
Scrappile Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I just save them: double click on the pattern I want, then right click on it and a box will appear, select the size you want to save, when the pattern cone up in the size I select I right click, and "save image as". Select where I want to save it and it is saved. To get it the real size I want I use an image resizer, such as, PosteRazor (free Download off the internet), Pixsizer (free off internet) or my favorite, Rapid Resizer, there is a free version on the internet or you can buy the software. Travis Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 I use Inkscape to prepare my patterns. Works great if you're familiar with the program. You can find tutorials here: Prepare A Pattern For Printing Using Inkscape Printing Oversized Patterns Quote
Scrappile Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 Here's my question. Can you save an Inkscape pattern as something other than an inscape file? That way I could use Rapid Resizer to resize it. Much easier for this old goat. Quote
WayneMahler Posted February 9, 2016 Report Posted February 9, 2016 Scrappile You can export a file in inkscape as a png file. Not familiar with Rapid Rresizer so can't answer that part. I use Adobe for most of my prints. Quote

crupiea Posted February 15, 2016 Report Posted February 15, 2016 I first copy the pattern to my desktop. After this you right click on it and select print. i box will open up giving you a bunch of size choices. i select the biggest one that fits the page just right. that way no editing or mucking about with margins and stuff, its all done for you Quote
