heppnerguy Posted February 11, 2016 Report Posted February 11, 2016 I had a customer who purchased a piece from me for a Christmas present and needed something for her grand daughter who is finishing her 1st year of basketball and after several conversations I was able to make her a plaque that she liked. I had 2 days to cut and finish it so that I could get it to her before the girls last game on Saturday. I went to Steve Goods site for ideas and ended up combining a couple of his to come up with what she wanted. I hope she is happy, I made it out of Alder, but next time I will not make it so thick. I thought it might be a little nicer that way but found that I think it would have be better had I used 1/2 inch maximum thickness. It made it more difficult to cut and the small blade i needed for the number on the jersey was a little nerve racking. i thought I would try a spiral but it wouldn't touch the alder so I had to use a #2 double tooth blade instead.
