I use to make a lot of pens using deer and elk antler.  Have several antler bases laying around and decided this morning to take a slice from one and play at scrolling on it.  I tried a Kokopelli, just because I like the little guy.  I have no clue what this is good for but it was fun.  Stinks....

Very, very nice Paul, how about making key chains with what horn you've got left. I like the little guy too.

Ha, I remember the smell well from pen making, but it never really bothered me.  I would not wear it as a body talc, to improve my B.O. but it is bearable to me.  Different snorts for different dorks. I guess.

Paul, you could make lots of items with these base cuts. Key chains, brooches lots of smaller items, they would be good sellers at gun shows. Those people will buy most anything made of antler.

These are the types of pen I made using antler.  Made great gifts.  I use real bullets and cartridges.

That would looks great with a small browning logo cut out and then made into a keychain, I have some antlers laying around but never thought about cutting them up, idk if Id be able to do that
