It's great to have a shop again and much more effiecient than any i've had.Not exactly what i'd like for the wood pile but i need to clear the floor to get a better picture how things are going to fit in the new shop.I'm overwhelmed at having full access to any and all the craft tools i've saved thru the years.I'm teeming with anticipation of the thought of the whole picture now.I work tomorrow so very little will get sorted out .Thanks for looking. No lights yet the ceiling is 16" tall where the only light bulb is that's not working.post-1607-0-76262900-1455658681_thumb.jpgpost-1607-0-81720500-1455658694_thumb.jpg

I have never seen a busy shop stay super clean or super organized. I have worked metal fabrication and plastic fabrication both in commercial settings and the shops were decently clean. But far from super clean or super organized!  Life was too busy for the mundane.

Good going on the New shop!  I have a lot of sawdust for you to just scatter around; if you need it!

Wow, with 16' height you could put a second floor in there! Only one light bulb? How are you going to replace it? Maybe it would be easier to put a few 2X4s across at an 8' or 10' level and fasten some lights to them.  Are there outlets on the walls, or do you have to install them too?

A few days of organizing should get you back to woodworking. Congratulations on the new shop space. It will be great, once you get everything organized and off the floor.

Congrats on the new shop space. The prices of LED lamps are coming down so you might find some T-8 shop lights for next to nothing on CL. Be sure to send pics as you organize. Be well.

Funny thing how things happen,I'm in the big box store and i'm dazing at a pole extension light bulb changer .Isn't that funny now i have a fluorescent bulb(1) that lights up the whole shop 16' off the ground .
