Bob, that is a very impressive undertaking, you did a spectacular job bringing it together. Thanks for sharing this piece of art with us, it's definitely a piece to be proud of.

Charley, I did a how to on the  bragging rights forum but the main thing is 2x1/2bowls and 10x1/4 bowls which are cut on the scroll saw doing the bowl from a board.  Have a look at Spencer Blooms page on www.patrioticwoodworker where he explains his method.   He originated this in 2012 but no one took him up on it, I was lucky enough he sent me the how to late last year.    Using ply wood you can't see the joins from the bowl from a board which makes it harder to convince people that is not just bent, the joining up is the tricky part but I'm sure you guys can work that out.   The additional scroll sawing and carving was my idea.  Have fun.

Danny, cutting a bowl from a board can't come out flat.  Use 1/2"  plywood cut 1/2" rings on the scrollsaw at 45 degrees to get 1/2 and 1/4 bowls.

Sparky look up Google - Scroll saw Mobius images and you will find Spencer Blooms award winning Mobius Ribbon, go to his page on Lumberjocks

and follow him to his Wavy Ribbon for further how to guide.
