Hi Guys

 

I am still pretty much a newbie here and to fret work but would like to ask a question.

 

I really enjoy cutting portraits and would love to make my own patterns to cut of famous people.

Does anyone know of a decent public domain site which has famous people in their categories?

 

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I would think the largest selection would be to type a name in Google images.

Google is a great place to start BUT some of the images are copyrighted and could be an issue if you post the pattern here.

Even if the image is copyright does not mean you can't make a pattern or even cut the project. You can even post a picture of the finished project here. What you can't do is make a pattern to share here or elsewhere or to sell. You also can't make the project to sell. You can only make it for personal use. That includes making it as a gift.

BTW I am not a lawyer.
