Still working on using the spiral blade. i did this eagle with a spiral and I am starting to enjoy those spirals. I still feel like a brand new scroller when I am using them but what the heck, I am learning to do that so all is good with me

Really love the pattern Dick. Terrific cutting using spirals and very well framed. Awesome !! I myself am too comfortable using flat blades and only use spirals when required.

I am the same way but I thought that one only gets better with trying and practicing. I would love to become as comfortable with the dreaded spiral as I feel with the flat blade. My progress is slow but i do feel I am making progress, never the less

Great work, Dick,

I hope I never have to use a spiral blade. My first

experiment was a disaster.

Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

I am with you. I tried the spiral a couple of times and hated the results but after seeing the great work of Hans and Paul, and others that use them, I just knew I needed to jump forward and give it an honest try

Spirals add more realism to a lot of projects especially animals ,hair, birds mountains etc.Good looking bird you did here!Keep them coming!

Very nice piece of work - once you get used to cutting with spirals they stand a very good chance of becoming your "go to" blades - and you won't feel quite as comfortable when you find something that needs a flat blade ..... (really .......).

Thanks for showing the piece - just love those intricate wildlife projects
