ubgoofy2003 Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Just finished this & have been thinking about doing it for some time. Finally ! I used a 1/2 in. slab of basswood & touched it up with color. I had the picture of the planes from our airshow some time ago & just added the Liberty to complete it. I stained the edging for a framed look. Thanks for looking. lawson56, Birchbark and bobscroll 3 Quote

ubgoofy2003 Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Thank you all very much. I had fun working this one out. Like I said my photo of the planes just wasn't enough, so added Liberty. I had been thinking about doing one with the planes & then it grew to this. Thanks so much. Quote

Scrappile Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Very nice. I really like the way you added the coloring. My son flew that type of flight often at air shows when he was a Navy Pilot. I think they called it "Legacy Flight". Quote
