smitty0312 Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 Sorry guys, no scrolling with this one, but I thought I would share it, , all made from pressure treated wood to last outdoors longer (would recommend staining in a year after wood cures to make last even longer), has a spicket for easy draining, could hook hose to it too, also has a rustic bottle opener on front for when you need it, this thing is built like a tank, plan called for just screws for whole project but I used lag bolts for the main frame (very solid)....Tell me what you think!! Thank You. Scrolling Steve, bobscroll, amazingkevin and 2 others 5 Quote

I had the plans free off the net, but it had a table in the middle, I made the chairs by the plans, then fabricated the middle without plans for the cooler.....took a little while but i got it. here's the site http://www.diypete.com/diy-project-plans/ Scrolling Steve 1 Quote

Lucky2 Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Looks nice Dan, I would prefer to have the top of the cooler at the same level as the armrests. I know why it's not, but, I would try hard to find a way to. Len Quote
wombatie Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Certainly different. Must be a man thing, I can see lots of men wanting one. Marg smitty0312 1 Quote

Len Actually Len I tried, but the 2x6 cross member was in the way, if I build another, I will try to lower the cooler, as it sits, the cooler height is perfect for me for an armrest and the outside ones are a little low for me.
