Travis Posted December 28, 2009 Report Share Posted December 28, 2009 I added a new feature to SSV to make finding the wood you're looking for a bit easier. I buy most of my wood from eBay. I find that it has a great selection and has pretty reasonable prices. So I added a Wood Finder that lists the current auctions on plywoods. You can find it under the Shop pulldown tab in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. If you're looking for a specific species for an intarsia project, I have a huge list of species in the sidebar. Clicking a species will take you to Wood Deals Online where it will list the current auctions for that species. I decided to only list plywoods auctions on SSV since that's what most of us are interested in. The species listings will be handled by Wood Deals Online. I didn't want to double-code the website when WDO does it perfectly well. It just makes maintenance a bit easier. Anyway, I hope it will be of some use to y'all. Enjoy!
