Scrollcrazy Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 I made a sign for my new shop. Carved out the letters with my Dremel 4000 and scrolled the roses. Lucky2, bobscroll, DeenaKay and 5 others 8 Quote

Dan Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Great job Becky. I like the color you added. I made a sign for my shop but it doesn't have roses. Quote

Rob Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 You must have a steady hand to do that lettering with a Dremel. Great sign, well done. Rob Quote
Scrollcrazy Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Very nice piece of work. What paints do you use? I just used some craft paint that I had and then sealed it with rustoleum triple thick spray. The board is actually an old redwood picket that my husband had laying around. Love to repurpose Quote

Phantom Scroller Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Becky looks great, what piece did you use in the dremel to cut that I'm intrigued. Roly Quote

Scrollcrazy Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Becky looks great, what piece did you use in the dremel to cut that I'm intrigued. Roly If I'm not mistaken, I used a 107 engraving bit for this project. I have smaller ones too for those extra small spaces. A flex shaft is a must for engraving! With my arthritis there's no way I could hold up that tool long enough to get anything done. Phantom Scroller 1 Quote
Framer Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Good work Becky . Now I want one of my own. Mine would be a lot simpler though. "Jason's Sanctuary" or something along those lines Quote
