Denny Knappen Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 This is a pattern by Sue Mey purchased from her site some time ago. I reduced the pattern to make one 6" tall and two 4" tall. I used 1/2" Red Oak with two coats of Tung Oil Finish and FR Polar #3 blades. A very easy pattern but popular. Comments welcome. bobscroll, leshko, Lucky2 and 2 others 5 Quote

Hawaiilad Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Great cutting. Are they being hung on the wall? Those would make good Trivets as well Quote
wombatie Posted March 9, 2016 Report Posted March 9, 2016 Excellent little family, well done. Marg Quote
Denny Knappen Posted March 9, 2016 Author Report Posted March 9, 2016 Larry, I made these to stand on a table or shelf. Sue Mey's pattern is approximately 8" x 8" so it would be great as a trivet or wall hanging. Fish 1 Quote
bobscroll Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 They look very nice and the choice of wood was right! Thank you Denny for letting us see, Bob Quote
Denny Knappen Posted March 10, 2016 Author Report Posted March 10, 2016 The night I posted this owl family, an owl flew into the truck. It was dark, so we couldn't see if it survived. The next day we drove back to the same spot and nothing to be found. I hate when that happens. Quote
