Which is a better printer for patterns and photos, a ink jet, or laser printer? Edward

shouldnt really matter since your only printing a black and white pattern

I bought a cheapy because I just refill my black cartage

but a ink jet is better for photos

It really comes down to the kind of paper you buy. If you get quality photo-paper, your pix will look amazing on inkjet. For printing patterns, it really doesn't matter that much. Laser looks really nice, but inkjet is much cheaper (both the machine and toner). If I was you, I'd just stick with inkjet unless there's a specific reason you want laser.

Laser printers are nice but really pricey. I also think if your printing photos you will get a better quality from inkjets over a laser.

I'll agree with the bunch also in saying doesn't matter , if you want to save a few dollars stay away from the jet printers for sure .....I do just fine with a low end printer .......Marshall
