breadstick
Made this for a (possible) client today. Think the wood is red oak that's rotted around the edges (and smells like poop, literally). Finished with some BLO. First time using it. We'll see how it goes, but I'm liking the look so far. Pattern is from someone here, but I can't remember who. lawson56, leshko, neptun and 3 others

breadstick
Thanks everyone. Unfortunately, not sure the smell is going anywhere. It sat in my shop for over a month and still smells as badly as when I brought it home. Hopefully someone can put up with it long enough to pay buy it. Phantom Scroller
So it's a smelly owl but looks good perhaps you'll have to make a shadow box for it. Roly
Bill WIlson
Give it a light coat of shellac, once the BLO is fully cured. That should seal in the odor.
