I made 2 of these for 2 couples that we're very close with. 1/2" cherry on 1/4" plywood backer painted white, "frame" (moulding) stained to match the stain of the piece itself. Not quite finished yet.. I'm looking through my photo albums, looking for pics of the 6 of us together and will include that as part of the piece (or maybe 2 smaller pics) - in the white space. Might even consider burning the edges of the photos to give it a "different" kind of a look. Thanks for looking !!
