Thanks for the pattern Bob. This is the first time I put white oak and walnut together. I will be doing a lot more of it. I also used masonite for the backer. The color matches the walnut almost perfect. The plaque measures 6" x 16" and finished natural dave

Beautiful Dave. I love these plaques that you guys create and am very envious. :drool: When it comes to certain thicknesses of wood it is such a drawback with a fret saw. Tried something a while back and was all over the place, needed a lot more control to keep the blade at 90 degrees!

Great job though. Colour combination is just right!
