Alexander Helbich
Anyone know of a site, or someone posting patterns of modern pop culture? I can find tons of nature scenes or word art, but nothing really pops for pop culture or the modern "tv show/movie" culture for us " young" adults. Thanks! I've seen Walking dead references and super hero ones on the forum, Where about do you find these, or just make them yourself? Travis
A lot of the pop culture stuff is licensed. Forums like SSV don't distribute those because we can get into copyright trouble. In the case of that, most people just design their own. I think Charles Dearing might have some stuff: http://www.woodenvisions.com/DataCatalog/CAT_Index.htm Scrolling Steve and amazingkevin

breadstick
If you google image search pumpkin carving patterns a lot of them can work for scroll saw patterns.
MrsN
Like Breadstick mentioned, do a search for "pumpkin carving patterns" or "stencils" I have found quite a few things that way. You can also do a Google image search, then under search tools change the type to line art, there are often images that work well for scrolling with a little bit of work. We have had a few different walking dead patterns posted. http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/11914-rick-grimes/?hl=%2Bwalking+%2Bdead http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/12823-walking-dead/?hl=%2Bwalking+%2Bdead http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/13003-ok-last-one-of-these/ http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/18325-carl-walking-dead/?hl=%2Bwalking+%2Bdead http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/topic/12685-walking-dead-patterns-daryl-dixon-and-others/ Edited March 25, 2016 by MrsN Fab4
Lucky2
Alex, have you checked out the pattern library yet? There's lots of patterns there to be had, maybe you could find something like your looking for there. What exactly, is it you're looking for? Let us know, and maybe we can help you out. Alexander Helbich
Aweseome, Thanks alot Everyone. Just looking for something other then "nature" or "biblical" patterns. Coming from a more "younger" adult then some, mid 20's, Nature patterns and other items like that don't really tickle my fansy, If you know what I mean.. Ill keep an eye on the pattern library, and I have been trying a few things myself lately. Ill post after I finish it, waiting for more blades to come in the mail from www.mikesworkshop.com

crupiea
Its all in how you like to do your work. No one says you have to stick with the traditional patters and sillouettes. i gave up those years ago. here are a couple example of stuff I do.
