Denny Knappen
I completed this project on Monday, March 28th. It is a pattern by Sue Mey and found in CWWC April 2008. I used Hard Maple 1/2" x 7 1/2" x 9" and backed with 1/8" Baltic Birch plywood stained red with Samen stain. For cutting the internal cuts I used FD UR #1 and FD UR #5 on the perimeter. There is a 'D' hanger on the back. Comments welcome. DeenaKay, Old Joe, Chachi111769 and 3 others

Denny Knappen
Thanks, Steve. I should have used 1/4" Hard Maple so that the backing would show up better.

Dave Monk
Nice Denny. I really like the red stain. Do you order it on line? dave
Denny Knappen
Thanks for the comments. Yes, Dave I order Samen Stain online. This water based stain was recommended by Sheila Landry several years ago. I also posted this project on my Facebook page, and Sue Mey 'liked' it. That made my day.
