here is a intarsia piece i made recently,

i dont realy do much intarsia ,so im quite happy the way this piece turned out

made from mahogany  and i think its ash,correct me if im wrong

Tony, a person would never know that you don't do much intarsia work, after viewing this piece. It'a an amazing piece, you got near perfectly matched joints.

thanks guys,i did all the sanding with my d,i y belt sander,clamped too my bench,wondering could i do better with a proper sander....

Beautiful work Tony! Just goes to show you don't NEED expensive tools to complete an Intarsia project, but it sure helps!
