Lubricating/oiling of EX-16

Hello Group,

I am not sure if that this subject has been discussed/answered.

I have an EX-16. I have had it for about 5 months now and did a few little projects on it (about 20 hours of cutting). Can someone tell how / where to lub or oil this saw?

I would appreciate the help.

Excalibur Scroll Saw Review

Your scrollsaw does not need any oil or grease, I have mine for 3 years maybe 500 hours of cutting and I never did a thing to it.

I don't have nor have even seen an EX-16 but if it will make you feel better,

look for moving parts that you can oil/grease.

I have had my EX21 for almost 2yrs and the tension lever is the the only thing that has been lubed........My owner's manual states that all other parts are sealed and require no lubrication ...........Works foe me!

As Scrolling Steve says I to only lub the tension lever with some petroleum jelly.All other bearing are sealed as stated in the instruction book.

Sam, I've been running my Ex21 for over six years, I've never had to oil or lub any part of my saw. You should check out the possibility of getting an owners manual, or a copy of one.

you should be able to go to the Excalibur web sight and get  a manual there. I got one for my EX21 before i received it .
