laust18 Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 I learned several "what not to do" tip finishing these...I have a bit of trouble finishing some pieces, when it comes to stain color combonations, On the 2 hummingbirds, I now wish I would have kept the birds a flowers light and made the backer dark...oh well, life and learn....I also learned that trying to hand paint tiny puzzle pieces is much harder than it would appear.....I will sand the autism one down and redo it in a different way... Thanks again to Russell for designing what I had in my head, it turned out great "except for the finishing part" amazingkevin, Phantom Scroller, neptun and 3 others 6 Quote

Ron Johnson Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 Very well done Loren. I find each project needs thought given to finish and I'm always on the look out for that perfect one for each. laust18 1 Quote

Kepy Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 You did a nice job on those. I agree on the hummers that reversing the colors would be more effective. laust18 1 Quote

heppnerguy Posted April 27, 2016 Report Posted April 27, 2016 Loren, I like them all but i would think it would be easier to cut and paint another piece all together that try sand off the paint and refinish it.. Just my take on things Dick heppnerguy laust18 1 Quote
