Happy new year!quick problem,2920 files ,2117 users at ssv.I went through the members list and wrote down all the ones that have 10 or more files. Problem is when i select search in the user gallery, enter the owners name, check file name, title, caption, keyword filename and any words i can only access 4% of the 60 i want to look at.I think i now remember travis doing something and lost some files .May be this is the reason?I would love to look at all the work thats been collected when i'm not scrolling.Am i doing something wrong? :? Please and thank you.

Are you using the Gallery Search or the search at the top of the screen? The one at the top of the screen is done by google. They haven't indexed the whole site yet.

One thing you can do is click the user's name in the gallery. That will give the user's stats including how many pictures they have uploaded. You'll also see a link that says "Click to see all uploads by ______". This will give all the pix they've uploaded to the gallery.

I hope that helps a little.

Thanks for answering my post.No it's not the google search .I went through the whole list and wrote down all the names i wanted to look at which have 10 or more files and then i was going to go one by one in the search box which is easyer for me.But most of what i type in comes up no file availiable.I'm sure i'm doing it right as i typed in my own name, amazingkevin and it goes right to all i have listed ,huum?By mistake i enterd" lty " instead of" qlty "and came up with a mix of mine and somebody elses stuff.Oh well ,could have been interesting to go back in time and see dusty archives of yester year.Just looking for a pass time when not scrolling ,but scroll related. :)

thanks ,but the ones i want to see are not in the users gallery.they are in the members section alphabeticaly by last name. Its easyer to write down the name i want to look at rather than go back ,go back go back to the members section and look for more ,To time consumeing.i just want to enter the owners name in the search box on the user gallery page next to album list, last uploads, last comments.download cart, search. when i enter my name all my work comes up immediatly.thanks.But the problem is out of 60 plus names i want to look at i can get a hand full only ,the others come up no file available.???

When you go to the search function, are you checking the box "Owner Name"? If you're just looking for the files a particular person has uploaded, unselect everything and check "Owner Name", type in the name, then click search. Seems to work fine for me.

The only other think I can think of is that the person you're looking for doesn't have anything in the Gallery. Just because they are members of the forum, doesn't mean they've uploaded anything to the Gallery. The Gallery and Forum are two separate pieces of software. I only bridged the account names so you only have to register for this site once. But if someone uploads something to the forum, the Gallery has no way of seeing it. The only time the Gallery can see a file is if the user specifically uploads something to the User Gallery. Perhaps this is the problem you're running into?
