enlarging PDF

How does one enlarge an A4 pattern to A3 without (when printing) the pattern comes out blurry.

Thanks Don.tried that and the pattern was too blurry to cut.

But it's ok now,  cause I found a way in Foxit Reader a free PDF program.

Thanks for the info Merlin, good to know. Under normal circumstances I would have gone over the larger pattern with a fine liner to give the edges definition.
