edward
Went to the Scrollsaw woodworking and craft show yesterday, had a good time, talked to some vendors and also bought a variety of packaged wood, which looked very good. 11 pieces of 1/4"x4"x24" for $50, which I thought was a good price, and great for ornaments, should keep me busy for awhile. The weather was really nice for awhile was 74 degrees then dropped 20 degrees later in the day.. edward Travis

NC Scroller
Dang Edward I wish I knew you were there. I was there both days. Had a great time. I attended 9 sessions in two days. Bought several new books. Bought a few new tools toys. Learn a few new tricks. Made a few new friends and met up with a few old friends. wombatie
We have 3 different ones a year that we go to. Two are smaller one about a 2 hour drive from here but we make a weekend out of it, and the third is the large Melbourne Working With Wood show, we haven't missed one of those in about 17 years. NC Scroller
I traveled 6 hours one way. I take the wife and make a mini vacation. This event is near Lancaster, PA which has some great sightseeing and country side. Not to mention some good eating places. It is the heart of the Penn Dutch Country. The wife even got the craft bug this year as they had several activities for non wood workers. She carved a cute turtle out of a bar of soap. Here is a pdf file that shows the 2016 class schedule. http://wood-show.com/files/2016/03/Class-Schedule-2016-050216.pdf
Barry5180
I didn't get to make it this year. My daughter had her first child on Mother's day so we've been entertaining relatives all weekend. Next year for sure. Barry
Jim McDonald
Went two years ago and had a great time, but the beach beckons this year. Going to try really hard next year. About 8 hours each way from here.
