don watson Posted May 20, 2016 Report Posted May 20, 2016 Hi All, I am still trying out this new scroll saw thingy. I sourced a decent piece of 1/4" ply and used Olson #3 reverse tooth blade and was very pleased with the result. The design is by Chris Messier and many thanks to him. take care Don W amazingkevin, lawson56 and Old Joe 3 Quote

Barry5180 Posted May 21, 2016 Report Posted May 21, 2016 Great job on that cutting. It sure doesn't look like a beginner cutting. Can't wait to see more of your work. Thanks for sharing with us. Barry don watson 1 Quote
don watson Posted May 21, 2016 Author Report Posted May 21, 2016 Thanks for all your comments I really appreciate them, but special thanks to Messman for the design. I am still working through the book 'Scroll Saw Workbook' by John A. Nelson and picking up bits and pieces as I go so I will continue with the exercises while I get ready to cut the pieces I have gathered from this forum. I think the Golfer pattern will be first as it will be coming up real soon. @ Kevin, I never thought of stack cutting and doing as you suggest but I reckon I could and it would possibly cut down the vet/feed bills Quote
