qlty
I gave up waiting for a used DeWalt so I bought a used Sears 20 inch Craftsman contractor series Vspeed for $100.It weighs a ton had to take it off the stand to get it down my basement.Runs nice and smooth has had little use so I'm a happy scroller.Sear used to sell quality tools. Dan
Sounds like you got a good deal. I had a Craftsman 16" that worked pretty good. I believe the heavier the saw the better the vibration control. My Craftsman weighed about 50 lbs. but my Delta weights over 120 lbs. with the stand. Kepy
Used is good. Probably over half the tools in my shop are pre owned. I agree with you the Craftsman used to make quality tools. You couldn't sell me any of their power tools today.
dankc908
The same company that used to make the Craftsman quality tools now makes the Ridgid tools sold at Home Depot. I now have a contractor's table saw and a miter saw. All came with a Lifetime guarantee.
