edward Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 What is the proper procedure on mounting plexaglass to wood as a backer. Have never done this before, thanks for any info. Edward Quote
Messman Posted January 13, 2010 Report Posted January 13, 2010 How thick is the wood you are mounting it to? Quote
Dan Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 Hey Edward, superglue should work. Of course, there are other ways depending on what you're doing. I've seen some neat fretwork with colored plexi as a backer, but I don't know how these were mounted. Quote
Travis Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I think a two part epoxy would work well for a permanent bond. If you wanted it to be temporary, those foam two-sided stickers might work too. Quote
