I want to become a Supporter,But I don't want to do the PayPal thing.I have had some not so pleasant experiences with them in the past.Can I pay another way?

Unfortunately, that's the only payment portal I have set up.  The other ones are a real pain to set up and some of them require extra fees.  I'd prefer PayPal, but you could send in a check if you'd like.  PM me and I can get you more info.
