rjR Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Made totally from dumpster wood. Mostly cedar a tiny bit of un-known species. .Used --scrollsaw, chop saw --sanders, drill press, hand drill and even a 70+year old draw-knife. Mostly just guess-ta-measured! The wheel gets cut on a scrollsaw (I do not own a bandsaw) and then trued up on the vertical belt-sander. Just put up to prove I am still alive! I do not like the box style; looked better in my head before making it. Next salvage one will be back to more rounded style box. lawson56 and neptun 2 Quote
Lucky2 Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Ralph, that's a very cute and unique wheelbarrow. This is the second not lazy posting, who's been telling you that you are? Len Quote
Ron Johnson Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Surprising what can be done from a picture in mind. Well done Ralph. Quote
wombatie Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Your not lazy we all know that. The square box will look better once its got some plants in, maybe some that hang over the side to soften it a little. Marg Quote

rdatelle Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Love the old wood. If you do put plants, I would put some kind of liner in it so the wood don;t rot. Quote
Scrappile Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Great job, Ralph. Make an awesome planter. You used a draw knife. I have a couple and love to find reasons to use them. Quote
penquin Posted June 4, 2016 Report Posted June 4, 2016 Looks like a real fun project to do. Great use of left over wood. Thanks for sharing. jim penqin Quote
Barry5180 Posted June 5, 2016 Report Posted June 5, 2016 That's an awesome wheelbarrow Ralph. You did a terrific job on it. I think it looks just like an antique wheelbarrow I saw at an antique store not too long ago. Definitely not lazy at all. Barry Quote
