I cut 85 but keep falling asleep at the saw. It's amazing how fast you can cut one.Bad part is there is so many steps you have to do to get to the final product.I know i won't even be close to make $8 each labor, they are just too tedious .Well they kept me home ,out of trouble and not spending money which is a good thing. There are beautiful and even more so when stained or painted multi colors .I figure the best looking grain ones will be left like that, cleared or light stain.I'm thinking of a display with oxygen acetylene brazing rods between two posts would look nice for a display of them.I have over 100 now getting ready for the final stages. They were fun cutting and i'll enjoy seeing them finished .

Here is tip.

For the perches I use pieces of bamboo skewers the wife bought an Walmart.  The skewers are 12" long and come in a bag of 100 for $2.00 and fit perfectly in the 1/8th inch hole .  Figuring each perch is an 1" long you get 1,200 perches (less than 1 cent a piece) from a bag.
