Denny Knappen
I finished eight of these on Sunday and Monday. The patterns are by Diana Thompson and found in CWWC May 2011. The birdhouses are made from Poplar and I used FD Polar #7 blades. For the birds I used Aromatic Red Cedar and FD Polar #3 blades. My tree display is again filled. Comments welcome. leshko, don watson, TripleJScroller and 6 others

Denny Knappen
While sitting at the computer with the display in front of me, someone came into ArtCrafters and purchased one of the Miniature Birdhouses. She liked the one with a flat base so it can stand. tonylumps

Scrappile
Last time you or someone posted pictures of these birdhouses, I ordered some patterns. I have just got to try this. You did great on these.
Denny Knappen
Thanks for all the encouraging words. For those interested, give compound cutting a try. One suggestion, after cutting the first side, keep the block together and tape tight. I use packing tape. There are also jigs used to hold the block together. Lucky2
Nicely done Denny, they all look fantastic. They are good sellers, and people don't only use them for Christmas decorations. I have a customer who has one hanging on each of her window blinds. Len
