amazingkevin
It's been years now since i got a good blade order, I got a small one from the teddy bear awhile back but i need grosses more. I'm going to retire the scroll reverse blades as i found out the polar skip tooth blades will let me scroll twice as fast. I'm loving that.Also. I got into the mini bird houses that are thick and now i want to try compound ornaments.# 5& #7 & 9 & 12 blades were my mainstay. To bad the polar doesn't come in #12. All i've left to cut with is lots of sizes less than #5's. One person payed me today from a christmas order with a little extra. I've over spent this month some how and have been with out cold water to drink for two days. lawson56 and Scrolling Steve

rdatelle
Good luck Kev on those ornaments. I just ordered some #9 and #12 blades. Have to try them out on a couple of compound cuts and see how they do.
Denny Knappen
Kevin, I use FD Polar #7 almost exclusively on the birdhouses and #5 on the birds. Also one blade per birdhouse. SCROLLSAW703

Sounds good.On the birds it doesn't take much with a dremil and a sandiing drum to get more birds from the scrap around the compound cuttings of the birds. Lucky2
Denny, one blade per birdhouse, that's not much cutting out of a blade. When I cut them out, I can usually get two to three birdhouses per blade. Most of the ones I've cut were made from either pine or poplar and cedar, none of which are considered hardwoods. So, maybe that makes a difference in amounts cut. Len
Denny Knappen
Len, I consider the blades as disposable at less than 25 cents. I don't like pushing, so changing blades. I also use some hardwoods and it does make a difference.

EarltheScroller
I've heard a lot of good things about the Polar blades but have not tried them. Guess I'll order some. Thanks, Kevin, for the push. amazingkevin
