Denny Knappen
This pattern caught my eye and just had to be made. The pattern is by Chuck Petrovich and found in SWWC Summer 2012 issue #47. I was not sure of the Red Oak, but when I applied the Samen stain to the base, it really stands out. I used Fd Polar #5 blade. I really enjoyed making this project. Comments welcome. amazingkevin, New Guy, oldhudson and 1 other

Denny Knappen
Thanks for all the nice comments. Without staining the water, the seahorse did not stand out. Staining really helps.

Denny Knappen
Thanks Dave and Dan. I did not have any 3/4" Hard Maple, so I used the Red Oak.
heppnerguy
Cute piece I have to agree with the colorization of this piece as it does make it stand out much better. Sometimes the contrasts is needed, as was the case here. Love you work Dick heppnerguy
