Heat?  I know heat... My uninsulated garden shed is like a small oven.  Portable AC I bought last month helps, but only when I have it aimed right on my back as I'm cutting or oiling.  It doesn't cool the overall temp in the shed, but it keeps me from sweating and that's good enough.

I know an ac or heater cools or heats best at about half way up the wall.No sence cooling or heating any high than that.so i put the heater on the desk.If i could the ac would be 4' off the ground  in the wall too.

Doin' good there Kevin - I sure don't envy you folks your summer heat waves - but then again - I'm sure you don't envy us our winter cold snaps .....

My basement shop stays at around 70 degrees all year, what kind of paint did you use, looks like spray paint.  edward

Yeah rattle can,i see i need to by all colors again and blo mix with varnish in a "spray it aresol can"

To us arthritics --heat beats holy hell out of mid -30's +++100+% humidity!

 

Temps in the 10's 1nd 20's MINUS do not feel any colder than the high humidity-- 30's cold; if they are low humidity. Yes, I have lived/worked in both!
