Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I started on an old craftsman on end that I got from my dad, quickly fell in love with the hobby and invested in a delta (same as the Dewalt 788 just rebranded under the delta name). Tried a little of everything at first, then started cutting tagua slices and making necklaces out of them. Recently, thanks to a Charles Dearing video I've discovered the joy of spiral blades and portraits. Looking forward to posting some pics soon. I've seen alot of great stuff on this site already!

Welcome to our world wide family. THE VILLAGE is filled with every skill leveled people in scrolling. But no one has all the answers to every question as scrolling is an ever learning hobby. But feel free to ask any question you may have and be sure and chime in with any answers you may have for someone else. The important thing is to come back often so we can all get to know you. So glad you decided to join our community

Thank you Ike, I'm happily cutting away on a 690 delta (also called the gray Dewalt). I've got some pics in my gallery and some of my tagua necklaces posted in bragging rights. I'll have my latest project up soon. I'm having a lot of fun here in the village!
