amazingkevin Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 Kevin, you are grounded from using the table saw until you cut yourself a push stick ... and use it. YOU sir got lucky in the extreme. Please be more careful. I like the name plate with the car btw. DW Thanks,Im put the cover back on the band saw as everyone requested just before my fingers almost went around the wheels inside the band saw ,almost That terrified me. Quote

amazingkevin Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 Hey Kevin.... I nicked the back of my pinky in my table saw a few weeks back myself. Only did it once though. Took a dozen stitches but is fine now. Like me, you likely did it while doing repeated cuts, Just not paying attention .The blade was not coming thru the wood till i pressed down on it to hold it in place going thru the blade .That 'show this one happened.Must be because we have the same birthday ?lol Jim Finn 1 Quote
amazingkevin Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 Think.JPG Ok i downloaded your pattern .it will be in front of the saw soon,Thanks! Quote
amazingkevin Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 Roly made a pattern for a push stick. I'd get the pattern and make it. Good pattern too. I have the stic that came with the saw and Steve goods "the pusher" is next to it.Go figure, lol Quote
amazingkevin Posted July 6, 2016 Author Report Posted July 6, 2016 (edited) Fortunately only a knick. The custom furniture maker behind us invested in a Saw Stop. He says it works from experience. Big money i'm sure for that and my fingers are worth every penny but i can't afford it. Edited July 6, 2016 by amazingkevin Quote
