I just bought a EX 16 off of EBAY.Do I really need it. Maybe I just wanted to try an Excalibur for the top feed.I am happy with the Hegner I guess if it does not work out I could always sell it.

There's nothing worse than being out of commission because your saw has broken down. Having a spare saw is a great thing to have. Plus, it's small enough you might be able to store it in your camper so you can take it on vacation with you!!!

Most of us have 2 saws, I have a DeWalt and an Ex21.  And yes I do use both.

My first saw was the Porter Cable .Good saw for the money.low vibration Quiet But if you can,t install a blade what good is the saw.I had a hard time with the lower clamp.Even made the tool for it.That is up for sale now that I bought the EX.When will these tool companies learn and quit selling junk.It would cost about another 25.00 to put a decent blade mount on the Porter Cable.

I've have had two saws for quite a while. My go to saw is a Hawk G4 and my backup is a Black Excalibur Summerville design saw. Made a lot of sawdust with both.

I just did a Review of the EX 16 In the Saw section.I would like some input to see if I am off base I did a little comparison to the Hegner.And that is what I came up with so far. I did quite a few cuts with the EX the past couple of days and I really like it.

I agree 2 would be better than 1. I was in the middle of a project when my saw quit--had to stall until a new one came in

I have two, an Ex and a Hegner.  Until recently I have not got along too well with the Hegner but I am now getting the hang of it and may end up even liking it.  Now that being said, I check Craigslist often for scroll saws.  If I find a deal I just can't pass up, I will have 3 scroll saws,,,, no law against it that I know of.

I have two Deltas and they both have a pattern being cut.

Take a break on one and start cutting on the other.

I have three.  One is set up at an angle for doing inlays, one has the table level and the third one is under my bench.  Haven't touched that one  in over a year now.
