I wouldn't worry about it. I had to go look at the pattern to see what was actually broke off. Thanks for cutting one of my patterns, and for posting the cutting.

Can't tell what your talking about, "don't ask don't tell". It looks great leave it like it is.

I've heard told, course I have never done it,,,,, but it is said to be possible to glue a piece in from the back, holding it with tweezers, using a small drop of medium thickness CA glue.  Not sure it works, but,,,  

 

But really most times a piece here, a piece there, no one will notice.

Cliff, sorry I'm a little late to respond but I agree with others the piece that broke off is not very noticeable.   If it really bothers you making a new cutting is probably your best bet.   That's probably  what I would do and either glue the broken piece in or smooth the area where it broke off and keep that one for myself.

I like it just the way it is. I also like the natural non finished applied look, due to the material it is cut on. I would give it to the party who ordered it. I would place a bet that they will be amazed and pleased with it just the way it is. If you feel a little bad about the outcome of your work here, due to the breakage, you might gift them another piece at a later date as a "thank you" for their previous order
