trackman
Looks and feels like bass wood, kind of looks like poplar. Very light and soft. Poplar I have seen just has green in it. And guesses? Got it from GA.

Rob
Nice piece of timber whatever wood it is and faultless cutting. Very well done. Rob
dgman
Nice cutting! Looks like Blue Pine from here.
WayneMahler
Great job cutting it. I think Dan may be close with the blue pine. Some of the marking remind me of Ambrosia Maple but that is just the markings. Maple is pretty hard too. Scrappile

Lucky2
It could be either, blue stained pine, or, stained and spalded poplar. What does it smell like before being stained or painted? Len
kywoodmaster
Could be Poplar. I have Poplar that ranges from white to black with blue. green and redish browns. Coming from GA I would go with blue stain pine. I am like Wayne it resembles ambrosia Maple but Maple is usually hard. Looks Great what ever it is.
