heppnerguy
I posted the ram that I made for my long time friend who is having a surprise birthday coming up, well, he was in a band years ago and is a self taught guitar player and can play anything on his guitar, really well, after only listening to it. Amazes me, but anyway this Steve Good pattern was the perfect fit for him and only takes a short time to make. I have made and sold a few of these on my page so it was like de ja vue (sp), to knock out one more just for him.. It just seemed like the right thing to do Dick heppnerguy LarB, Vott1, Scrolling Steve and 1 other

meflick
Looks great. My husband is a self teaching himself guitar. Plus I have a niece and nephew who play. Any and all of them would love something like this. I have downloaded a number of Steve Good's files into my saved pattern files to work on "someday" as I get more comfortable with my saw. I will have to see if I grabbed this one yet. His blog and files are a treasure trove to a newbie like me. I am sure your friend will love it. Thanks for sharing the photo of it. heppnerguy

heppnerguy
This is a quick and easy one to make, probably under 3 hours start to finish for this one. I have to say, that I like the pattern too, although I am not into guitars but for some people it is a perfect gift. This friend of mine will surely like this one, I imagine.. heppnerguy
That is sweet ...what is the finished size shown, Dick.? I would estimate the length to be about 16 inches. It is an easy cut and a fun display for the music /guitar person Dick Scrolling Steve
heppnerguy
Hum he's not answering my request either Kevin, Is this directed at me? If you feel I am ignoring you, it is measly an over sight or I missed a post. I always try to answer any questions that are directed at me. I never purposely snub anyone, especially someone I consider a friend like I do you and everyone on the site. Tell me if I have failed you somehow. If I did, I apologize Dick heppnerguy

breadstick
Looks great. I might have to give this a shot this weekend. I have some guitar player friends. Would look great in maple and walnut, but I'm really liking the red you made yours in.
