heppnerguy Posted July 25, 2016 Report Posted July 25, 2016 I cut this one while the wife watched a movie on TV. It is a Charles Dearing pattern and probably one of his easier ones. I cut it with a #1 flat end spiral blade on my DeWalt. I am planning on making a frame for it sometime later this week. I am pleased with the outcome and I am starting to feel pretty comfortable with my spiral blades now. It is cut on 1/4 inch BB Ply. I see the color is not very true, but I guess everyone probably knows what BB Ply looks like. . Dick heppnerguy Old Joe, GrampaJim, amazingkevin and 3 others 6 Quote

meflick Posted July 25, 2016 Report Posted July 25, 2016 Ditto to what everyone else has already said. Your Cat looks great. Thanks for sharing your image. One day I will get brave and try this type of work on my saw perhaps but right now I have plenty of things to learn about Intarsia work - that should keep me busy for quite some time. However, seeing yours and others pictures like this have be putting this type of cutting on my "some day" list. heppnerguy 1 Quote
