rdatelle Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 (edited) Well I finally finished this project almost. Just have to put a few coats of poly on it and a hanger on the back. I'll do that tomorrow. This measures 12" W x 24" long and is made out of 1/2 inch Oak. There's two 1 1/2 inch strips on the back holding it all together. I used a #3 reverse on all of the letters. Just have to find a place to hang it now. Edited July 26, 2016 by rdatelle amazingkevin, New Guy, vykus and 6 others 9 Quote

Lucky2 Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 That's an outstanding cutting Ralph, you did an amazing job cutting all of those letters. What do you plan to use to hold the pieces together? And if you don't mind me asking, where did you get this pattern from? Yours looks so good, thatI think I might like to try cutting one out myself. Len Quote
rdatelle Posted July 27, 2016 Author Report Posted July 27, 2016 Len, this is a Sheila Landry pattern, plus it's already pieced together. You can't tell in the photo because of the background. I have two 1 1/2 slats on either side glued to the backs. Quote
danny Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 Ralph this looks Perfect; Very, very well cut. Neat and Eye Catching. Me also want to cut such a Beautiful Piece. I would ask for where to obtain this pattern, but the wording does not correspond with our Faiths version. Would there be other patterns of the 10 Commandants where you got yours? Or Maybe you Designed this. Yes? Anyway Wonderful looking. Danny :+} Quote

rdatelle Posted July 27, 2016 Author Report Posted July 27, 2016 Thanks everyone for all the compliments. It was a challenge to do but I stuck with it. Danny, this is a Sheila Landry pattern and if you go to her site, she has a lot of different sayings plus the ten commandments. Good luck. Paul I have the measurements up top but it's 12w x 24 long.
