heppnerguy Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 As you can tell, I am NOT a frame maker by any stretch of the imagination, but when the boss speaks, I jump. So I went to the shop and did my best to come up with a frame for this one. I guess I will just need to make a presentation to my bride before I post something here. If it needs a frame I will just have to go out to the shop and attempt to make one. I have to admit, even with the shabby frame I made, it does look more finished with one. Who knows, if I keep having to make frames, eventually I might catch on how to do that. Time will tell Dick heppnerguy bobscroll 1 Quote

Wow a custom frame store. I need to come work for you for free just to learn how to make a decent frame. Dick heppnerguy Quote

meflick Posted July 28, 2016 Report Posted July 28, 2016 You must heed my husband's adage - no two greater words then "Yes Dear". Think she was onto something - looks great in that frame. You did a fine job on the frame. Thanks for sharing the "upgrade" version. heppnerguy 1 Quote
heppnerguy Posted July 28, 2016 Author Report Posted July 28, 2016 Dick, it is fine! That commute to TN will be a long one! I know, Ralph, Tennessee is a long way away and I will never be able to make that trip, but wouldn't it be great to be able to work with a pro and learn something you could use the rest of your life? Hey, have you been working on that new Leath of yours, lately. I don't recall anything new from it for some time. Maybe you need to go fire it up soon Dick heppnerguy Quote
