I've cut this twice.  The first one was cut on plywood.  It looked ok but I wanted to see what it looked like on hardwood.  I chose 3/4 inch oak.  The pattern is in Creative Woodworks June 03.  I like it better in hardwood.

Both cuttings look excellent But hard words have that extra going for them.

  I have to agree with the others.  You piece  is very well cut... This will look great on any wall or shelf..Should bring a lot of nice comments when seen.

Very good job, and I agree the hardwood is beautiful.  May just have to find the perfect piece of hardwood in my stash to recreate the one I also did in plywood.  WONDERFUL

Vern, it's a very nice looking cutting, it would be delicate though seeing as how its oak.
