MTCowpoke22
Last week I posted requesting information on inlay for an Urn I was asked to make. I gave up on the inlay due to my lack of experience with it, and the time restriction on getting the urn done. I know the only scroll pieces ended up being the initials and the cross. Overall, I'm very proud of how it turned out. The family loved it, and has tentatively asked for a matching one. amazingkevin, Be_O_Be, lawson56 and 2 others
Denny Knappen
Excellent, Tim. Sometimes overlays look even better than inlays. MTCowpoke22

MTCowpoke22
Len, Grandma passed, but Grandpa is still hanging in there. And while they'd love for him to live forever, his health is starting to fade a bit as well. Lucky2

MTCowpoke22
Rolf, I picked up the latch at a local Ace Hardware. This one was actually my backup choice. I ordered a different one from Rockler, but it was way too big and detracted from the rest of the urn, so I went with this one.
heppnerguy
Nicely done. It shouts with the love and concern of a loving effort on your part. They will be proud to display it. Wherever that special place may become and I am sure it will be pointed out that you were that maker of it.
